Some nice comments from Tait about Shea Pita , I’d forgotten how young he is , probably the youngest of our Scholars, as he’s been around a while , suffered injury , but featuring at u21 level now. Such a tricky , pacy player at this level and seems to have a footballing brain, rarely running into blind alleys as can be prone at this age. Of the 1st years I’d place him behind Olayiwola in terms of potential, I’m still waiting to see more of Gokah.

We will likely find out this month, but it'll be interesting to see if Pita flips to Venezuela to play in the U17 WC later this year. Represented Wales in the quali rounds last year but now Wales are knocked out I believe he could technically change.

I never thought I’d miss the old “ squeeze it into 2 mins , stick some horrible music on it” approach but we now seem to have gone with “ a dad standing in the corner with his iPhone” . Shocking really , surely someone is filming and analysing these games properly.
