Everton Youth Teams Thread

First time I've watched an u18s for a few seasons.

Pretty poor first half. We were trying to force the issue with too many long balls.

Braiden Graham though, speed, technical ability and intelligence and always makes himself available for the ball.

Looks miles ahead of any of our other lads at the moment. Slim lad, but didn't think he looked that small. Could be a proper player.

Patrick Seve, who I believe we brought in from Oldham system?
Who’s this keeper?

There seems to be a battle between Poland and England at u15 for Jon Nsangou , looks like he’s got exciting attacking potential .

Don’t know who “ Evans” is. Anyone?
My guess is Lewis Evans, who was with the team at the Servette cup in SWI in the fall. I think he’s a sort of winger/attacking mid but I could be way off. Hopefully someone local at the game can hone in where they play

Seve Patrick , came from Stockport. They’re saying he’s 15 so maybe a pre-Scholarship contract.

Just no patterns of play or ideas. Felt like I was going mad how many times they tried that clipped ball from Patrick into Morgan. 4-2-4 just isn't viable at any level.

I mentioned in the Thelwell thread I hope we have a serious look at the coaching situation of the u18s and u21s in the summer.

Are Tait and Southern the best we can do? I'm not sure they are. I think Tait is a very defensive minded coach and tonight was another strange set up from Southern.
