Everton completed a great 5-3 win v the previously unbeaten man city who had 5 wins from 5 games played,conceeding 6 goals only,Mampala with 1,Gordon with 2 to stay the leagues top scorer,Hornby with 2 were the scorers,this was after the last weeks 5-1 win at sunderland,Everton stay in 3rd place 1 point from top placed man city but having played 2 games more
