Everton: Your One Wish

I just want to see an Everton team that can attack at pace and compete with anyone home or away. I don’t expect us to win every game but nearly every side in the league have players who can hurt anyone if given the chance. Bournemouth can scare United at old Trafford. We go away from home and we can barely play a pass to another team mate. We are slow, weak, and have zero attacking threat.

To get rid of the utter dross at the upper management levels (Kenwright, Elstone and Walsh, for starters) and replace them with people who actually know a thing or two about running a football club.

I would wish for a supporting Everton On/Off button. Instead of suffering the never ending frustration, disappointment and embarrassment i could simply switch off being an Everton Fan for a while. Then when or rather if they ever get rid of all the rot that the club is currently drowning in from top to bottom and the club are worthy of supporting again, i can press my little switch on and start supporting them. Would be awesome to have Everton not spoil my life for a while. Make it so Genie. :)

Isn't part of the joy of supporting sports teams living through the highs and lows.

I have it in spades at the moment coz my rugby team Northampton have copied Evertons season so far.

Well yes that is what it is supposed to be like but after 50 years of being an Evertonian, the lows have outweighed the highs massively especially the last couple of decades. It would be nice be able to stop being an Evertonian for a while and get a bit of peace from all the disappointment and frustration. Sadly it is completely impossible. Blue till the day i die. Hopefully one day there might be some highs again and something to be proud of with them before that happens.
