To think we got a £500k fine (About 17% of what these have been fined) and a 2 year youth transfer ban (which in honesty, has happered us severely in terms of youth development and future transfer revenue) for offering some kid a new pair of trainers!
These lot attempt to defunct the English football pyramid and get basically the equivalent of 8 weeks of Kevin De Bruyne/David De Gea/Mo Salah's wages

The most frustrating thing about this to me is the 30 points deduction. Attempting this again should result in expulsion from the Premier League, not a points deduction that would have resulted in none of the six clubs being relegated if it had happened this season.
that 30 point threat just means the next time they won't chicken out so quick.
It should have been a two or four window transfer ban.

Arsenal would have finished the closest, only 3 points above the drop (61 to 31)

Top 7 would have been

Leicester - 66
West Ham - 65
Leeds - 59
Us - 59
City - 56
Villa - 55
Newcastle 45

United would have finished below Wolves, Liverpool below Palace, Southampton and Brighton and Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal all below Burnley

Right, and they’d all swap that inconvenience for a season for the promise of hundreds of millions in extra revenue in the Super League forever more.

There needs to be a permanent ban from the Premier League for any clubs trying this in future.

The most worrying thing about that revised table is that City would have still finished 5th even afer a 30 point deduction.
