Genuinely I do, I said back in March I wanted Koeman, before Martinez was sacked, if I was like some others I'd back him no matter where we finished this season, even if we were 11th or 13th even if we were on 28 points after 28 games, but that's not me. No top 8 with this season (which is reasonable) he should be let go, given what we are paying him.

So we give him a load of money to spend in January he brings his players in that he wants we finish 9th you would sack him,and we then start the roundabout again,of the new man not wanting koemans signings and wanting his own players,he needs more than 1 season.

I see what you're saying but the top 6 is the top 6, you'd be either expecting a huge collapse from one of them or naive to think we're gonna break that this season, but 7th or 8th should be easily achievable, I mean our form has been really poor and we are still 7th.

Not only that, such an overhaul will take two or three seasons of upheaval in the team which will mitigate against any coherence and success on the field.

And by that time Koeman will be at Barcelona

With the right backing Koeman will get it right, still convinced about that. Will take time to clear out the dead wood. Massive clear out and squad overhaul ahead. Too many players proving they are not good enough to play for Everton.

He will recoup more than half of that 100m with what we think is dead wood in the squad Mirallas, Geri, Mcarthy, Lennon, Mori

Mate I will be honest and say koeman didn't come to mind when managers were getting spoken about,but he was probably the only realistic one,plus once we got him I thought top 6 this season then push on from there I don't think that top 6 will happen but you never know.The way we have played recently I would be happy with top10,and then give him next season and judge him then.
