It's going to take a long time for the Martinez effect to wear off. It's not natural to actually hate being 2-0 up and have a leaden feeling of dread in your gut.

I would say our tactics made WBA utter poo. So excellent work from all or do we only beat teams that play poo.

not sure what to make of the victory, other than it looks like we can break teams that sit 9-10 back now. Thought Robles wasn't good today but still kept a clean sheet. Jags didn't have any work but played well. Hopefully Baines comes back soon.

...bit like Mourinho, shut up shop and make sure we win the game. The substitutions are always of interest, Holgate on for Mirallas etc are a sign of the managers approach. The 2nd half wasn't pretty, their keeper had little to do but job done I suppose.
