Well worth staying up till 4am. Really good performance especially after the disappointment of the spurs game. Still don't think it's over for top 4. Enjoy tonight blues!

I would love to share that last bit of optimism but the away form is some way off a challenge for 4th, especially with so many difficult away fixtures left.

We need a more mobile back 4 to allow us to play a bit further up the pitch in away games before we can truly compete at the very top.

We are not that far off though.

Barry and Jags salvaged a lot of their reputation today but I thought Ross Barkley was excellent and Schneiderlin faultless.

A lot of our play went down the middle with Davies prominent. Coleman and Baines/Funes didn't see too much action.
