Excellent win despite a lot doubting the starting xi. Although to be fair, wba looked pretty weak.

Bonus that niasse scored twice for hull

Did exactly what we needed to there.
Dominated the first half and patiently broke them down. Contained them well in the second, not pretty to look at but effective.

Ross ran the midfield and good to see DCL get a run out.

7 points clear of them now :)

The reality of a game against West Brom is that you won't need a terrier like Gana as they will concede possession anyway hoping to hit on the counter. And, you will be very grateful for the added height that Barry brings. If he does start Barry I would not be surprised at all.

Barry usually sits deep when he plays.

Fiar play you guys were right. Barry had a very good game - helped by the fact West Brom were utter poo

Comfortable game that showed what we all knew, that we are lengths ahead of 'The Rest'. Didn't really have to get into gear, but a positive result nonetheless. Barkley is starting to get the right consistency in his game and is always looking to have the ball in the right areas.

Barry had a solid game despite the apprehensive reaction to his inclusion in the starting eleven. Rom doing what Rom does, and his all round play is coming on massively. An important result ahead of a testing run.

It's fair to say that we are much better than the 13 teams below us, the 6 above us have loads of cash, were doing as well as we should be this season, hold on to Lukaku and Ross and build to go at them next year.

Ross MOTM today, he was brilliant, Lukaku and Barry were also very good.

I take my hat off to Koeman and give a full and humble apology - Barry starting was a mistake against Spuds, but it worked today. Great win and a classy performance.

Great first goal from Morgs, Kev put in a shift and Ross is back to being boss again. Even Jags looked composed at the back in place of Mori who always gives me the jitters.

The ghost of El Fraudo well and truly banished today - that's how you defeat a Pulis side. COYB!
