I've decided martina is going to be the subject of my fume for the season.

The amount of times he had space behind their fullback to knock it into and run him. But he chose to knock it square / back instead... absolutely fuming here

Officiating was terrible and we struggled to break them down, but we got out of there with a win.

Rooney is not quick enough or physically imposing enough to be a starting striker anymore.

Once Sandro came onto the field, we looked much more dangerous. His movement far surpasses Rooney

I hope Koeman doesn't shoe Rooney into the lineup every week for shirts and giggles.

Biggest worry was every ball into our box we where all at sea.

The defence is still woeful.

Keane needs a better long term partner to grow into a partnership.

Martina was hilariously bad defensively.

We're playing the same approach as last season without a target man and without a link man between defensive midfield and the front man. Totally ineffective.

When we have a far superior team and our defensive midfielder touches the ball more than winger/attacking midfielders, something is terribly wrong with the approach. Koeman needs to sort it out as soon as possible.

Klasen/Sandro is not the creator we hope for. Rooney is playing to far forward to link up. Winger not imposing themselves enough. Wingback not providing enough thrust down the flank. thank god transfer window is not close yet

Seemed decent enough to me, especially considering we are still in pre-season against a team playing at 150%. There will be a lot more room next week up front and indeed throughout the prem, a win, control of the game and some decent shots... I'm happy with it overall.

well, football doesn't work like that - at all.

We should definitely have scored more and I think Koeman got his team selection wrong because he started no players who can get in behind.

But, rustiness isn't something that can just be 'shook off'. Keeping up the intensity isn't easy when you've had three games.

We should have played better, no questions asked, but there's definitely mitigating factors.
