Manchester Evening News has an interactive 'Choose Your Team' thing going on ... Here's my City team for tomorrow - I reckon I've given us every chance. :)

I feel we have to get a win in the home game and could do with winning by two goals to take a bit more of a lead into the away tie.

That's the common view. I'm not so sure - I just have a feeling that a draw and we're still in with a decent chance. Our form away this season has been at least as good as our home form. We're certainly hard to beat away from home. Jags will be back for the away leg, which won't do our chances any harm. And if it does come down to a penalty shootout, with Robles in goal, I'd make us favourites. Our strike rate has been very good in the two recent shootouts against West Ham and Norwich, and we've got Baines back now.

13.5 In the Semi-Final ties, if the aggregate score is level at the end of the second game an extra half-hour shall be played. If the aggregate scores are still level at the end of extra time the tie shall be decided by goals scored away from home counting twice. If the teams remain equal after this procedure the tie shall be determined by the taking of kicks from the penalty mark in accordance with the Laws of Association Football.

A bit weird that.

Anyway, cannot bloody wait now. I hope the fans are patient and fully behind the team tomorrow. I have been guilty of grumbling myself, but tomorrow can be a real turning point both for the team and for the atmosphere at Goodison. I hope.
City have got Bullens Rd sections stopping not far short of Gwladys St. That alone should stir the Blue blood.

Of course another result of them having two thirds of the Bullens is that the only vocal support you'll hear on TV will be City's. Remember the cup game against Chelsea a few years back when GP was a cauldron of Everton support but literally all you heard on the TV coverage all game was Chelsea chants and songs?

Upper Bullens a cauldron of EFC support ???? long time ago I'm afraid

Its going to be well short of a full house by the looks of the e-ticketing web section, say c 35,000. There are seats available in every block. And if that is the actual attendance then that would less than 30,000 Evertonians would have bought tickets for the game -- a cup semi final! Very poor.

Looks like both our semi finals wont sell out, plenty of tickets available but £30/£35 for tomorrow with quite a few obstructed views seems a bit steep but City only charging £20 for the second leg & have closed the Colin Bell 3rd tier

I haven't seen City play well away from home since they beat us earlier in the season, so we really need to take advantage of that tomorrow.

I can see us getting at them with a really high intensity start tomorrow, if that happens then we've got to make it count otherwise you can just see us being caught with a sucker punch at the other end.
