by the way, to those saying that Ogbonna isn't a first teamer....
Juve bought him last month for 13m... would be surprised if he wasn't in their plans.
Reminded me of shawcross at points in that match... the amount of fouls

He will play, but he is not a nailed on starter.

They have the starting Italy National team 3 centre backs ahead of him......also Caceres and Marone.

Has Ogbonna not also been playing centre back for Italy recently?

He is in and out of the squad. Him, Ranocchia and Astori and the next in line to the Juventus 3.

They have improved their squad massivley. Marrone was used as Centre back when one of the first 3 were out, and he is really a midfielder.

Everton beat Juventus and people are moaning?

WTF.

I have to agree with this. Everton did very well today by drawing the Italian Champion (We should have won by 2 goals).

Even half of them were subs (Juventus) but people just forgot they were all super expensive subs. They would be first teamers in the top 4 Italian teams.

And well done Everton you did us pround today (ok a friendly but I am happy).

Pre Season - All i want to see is clean sheets...we have,nt had one yet, still time like.

Instead of reasoning with you (which clearly doesn't work), I'm just going to tell you to shut the fu*k up and try to enjoy being an Everton fan. Contrary to your sadistic beliefs, it is ultimately an enjoyable experience for most. Crazy, I know.

Ah right cool, I guess the only point I'm making is that he isn't some sh*** 7th choice defender.

Thought we played very well especially in the first half today against a very good team.

Just watched this on the OS, didn't check the score as to not ruin it for me.

Good run out, Stones was boss. Shame Pienaar didn't put us 2 up, but overall decent performance. I'm sure the Ossie haters will have a field day with this one though.

Juve are crap anyway...

To be honest, he did not do himself any favour today.

He is a beast of a defender, will be a star one day.

Like people have said, Juve's subs are all top top quality players.

I was just pointing out that its not their 1st team.

I was very impressed with how we played and we undoubtably deserved to win. I can't find anything to complain about, which is unusual for a pre-season friendly.

Why???

There's no logic to this at all. In fact I reckon had we drew every game nil-nil you'd be moaning about firepower or something like that
