I'm not sure what the other rules are but that kickoff time coincided with 6am in Mecca and I think there is an obligation for them to pray at this time (again not sure on this, I'm non-religious)

True, they dont eat when the sun is out, but if i am not mistaken, they pray based on the time in the country they are, nothing to do with being 6am in Mecca, as for Kone, the fact that he is fasting means he is not in full shape and the game being at 8pm local time means he was without any food and mainly water since over 12 hours
