A few observations:

1) Stones. Fantastic. All game long.

2) Big Vic. Did very well and gave Ogbonna fits all game. Referee finally decided to call his constant holding towards end. And give him credit for coming back and winning the ball before sending Mirallas off to score.

3) Everton looked better across the board than Juventus. Amazing really.

4) Osman. Will take stick but I thought it was just a miscontrolled pass and not a clearance that he screwed up that lead to the goal. He wasn't ready for the pace of the game. That said I've seen enough of Ossie over the years that he will play a part in this season. May not be first choice but he will contribute, like always.

5) Gibson. Tired rather quickly.

6) Fellaini. Played well and was all over the pitch.

7) Oviedo is gonna be a player for us.

8) Martinez. Good subs but would have liked to have seen Barkley sooner.

Fantastic performance Roberto Martinez and the whole Everton team !!!
Giant killers against a legendary European side full of world stars.
What impressed me most was that we were not intimidated at all by the big names but took the game to them in typical Martinez style.
With a bit of luck and a stricter ref we could have scored a couple more.
We only looked shaky on defence in set pieces.
ANY PL side would have been proud of our performance against the best club in Italy.
Everton clearly showed that they are more than capable of taking on the best in Europe and beating them.
May the Martinez/Everton love story continue to impress everybody - especially our opponents!!!
