Had such a great time.
Met some nice fans, yelled at the Italian tool in front of me that decided to stand for good chunks of the game (dude - when the entire area is sitting around you, don't be a jerk), got to cheer USA! for Tim Howard, wore my kit, and cheered at the end.
Plus, Baines went up and down my side for the first 45 minutes. WROAR!
Team came over and clapped for the supporter's section at the end - in particular Distin is a doll, and Tim Howard threw some stuff to the fans to keep.
Victor was powerful and used his body as a target forward to great effect. He looked good and he worked hard while taking a beating (even in pre season). Some nice stuff from someone that fell over easily in previous years.
Stones' PK brought a great laugh from the crown, and his last ditch defending was great.
Pienaar was off kilter, thought Fellaini was just okay. Gibson was definitely off kilter.
Mirallas' goal was brilliant. With that said, he has a tendency to focus on his plays, and not lift his head and look for others. Great goal though.
Distin got back with pace multiple times. I'm convinced he'll never be slow.
And Tim Howard was solid. I hope his form carries through to the season.
