I would have thought Iwobi was a logical central replacement, rather than Dele, Gray or Gordon.

Probably, I remember under Walter Smith , we played without a striker in a 5-5-0 formation, that was only when we couldn't play his favored 6-3-1

Instead of Dele as a false 9 I would love us to play a centre half up front, probably Michael Keane

- rough them up a bit
- can finish as shown against palace
- by default can’t play in defence
- and most importantly it would be so old-school and so hilarious

Surely going to get in another CF soon? I know Cornet's been linked forever but he'd surely be more wide option.

This DCL injury shows the limited options even if Rondon is available as you obviously don't want him starting much at all.

I see most people think Patterson will play ahead of Coleman, I'd be (pleasantly) surprised.

Coleman has just had surgery and probably will struggle to walk, so Patterson might get the nod ahead of him.
I think he'll end up playing Godfrey right back
