Everton V Wolves

The worrying thing is the only 'big four' team we have played in the prem this season is Arsenal :( .... we have Villa coming up and a very tough November.
With the very winnable fixtures we've had in the last month we should be top five.

All consolation taken from the Liverpool loss should only be compounded by the fact they gave up the winning goal due to a balloon deflection.

Rodwell had an amazing game (atleast the second half which is all i saw), and cahill created plenty of chances
Rodwell is only young and did ok today but he needs to be rested and brought on properly,i am not questioning his ability i think he is going to be in the 40 million bracket.
Cahill was part of the central midfield that gave wolves so much space.
If we play like that today against the top sides they will rip us to pieces in the midfield area.

At least the site didn't go down today (y)

My connection does that, just did in fact, stuck with it for the moment, pisses me off so much, but I'm not letting that stand in the way of discussions.

Liverpool supporters on right now on (0108) Call Collymore bitching and moaning about Benitez and all, music to my ears.

I'm listening out for any Moyes talk, come on you Toffees let's hear you.

ffs another home draw vs another poor team ...yes i know we r playing without players but we played a team who has only picked up 3 pts ( a win v wigan at the start) away from hme a team thAT IS GOING TO STRUGLLE IN THIS LGE

this comes after all the morning papers stating moyes as saying we have a tough 23 days ahead ... icould be wrong but before the stoke game had we not got a run of fixtures of very beatable teams

and lets be REAL here the red [Poor language removed] losing isnt any consolation to our team our performance or anything got to do with us (n)

I just heard that we only scored two minutes from time, i.e, we were like 90 seconds away from being beaten at home by Wolverhampton.

Billy, can't be arsed with the full name, got it I heard, Doyle for the opposition, didn;t realize it was so close to a defeat today.

I wish I could hear some of our supporters on the radio phone in's but it's full of some other (aforementioned) crap. :@

Shows you the problem we have when we are without Arteta and Pienaar on the pitch, lack of creativity and today we are lacking composure as well.

If that was all the problem we had today, then it was still good but that was not the case we were lacking determination, we are not chasing enough ball and our reaction to the second ball was close to being next to nothing, the concentration was awful and most of the player was lost.

I certainly felt lucky we got a draw, they had so many half chances in the first half, we should feel lucky Wolves does not have a Top class striker, if Saha was playing for them we would be at least two nil down in the first half.

From what I see today Wolves was nothing special, all they were doing was what they suppose to do, close down our player whenever possible, and make a counter attack whenever possible.

We allow them play there game and with confidence, so, We make them look good, it is a bad habit we do it too often, why do we always make life difficult for ourselve?

Two game in a role, RS has lost points and we are playing Stoke and Wolves, three points from both of those matches then we would have been level on points with them already AND with a game in hand over them.

I would be real worried if Pienaar are not available against Bolton, as they have scored a goal away from home against Man Utd, there confidence would high after that result and as we all know playing Bolton away is never a easy match for Everton!

Let's hope we get a great result against Benfica to regain some much needed confidence!
