I watched the Sheffield United game and I think I have suffered enough. I will be back as soon as the window opens and the hope will return provided Carlo bins a lot of the crud that we have filling shirts at the moment and bring in players who want to play.

Roy is a good friend. He had a fantastic career. In every club he was in Italy, they have a good memory of him. I think he helped football to be better & also he taught a lot of managers how to behave in & outside the pitch

The only regret is that we lost a lot of opportunities. We fought for the European position but if we are not to make the position, it will be a regret because we had opportunities, We planned 21 games to be strong defensively & use the counter-attack, to be strong on set pieces - and of those 21, we won 14. In 15 games, we tried to play a little bit different... and won only two. Maybe this is the reason

I am not a magician. I am only a trainer.
It is difficult to explain this double face of the team. it is true that we didn't play so well in this period and of course we have to improve the quality.
But you can play football in different ways. You can get results not only with quality.
It is true I have won a lot of trophies but I don't know how many with quality. It is also about spirit, and sacrifice, and focus.

Oh what an atmosphere​

It was last December and it was a magnificent atmosphere and now they are back we need to play football with emotion.

Some quite revealing stuff there. Basically in the games where he asked the players to take responsibility and force opponents back, they failed 13 times out of 15. What an indictment on these players.

It's maybe been lost in translation a little bit, but yes we do need a revolution. There is very little left preserving in this squad. 2 or 3 signings this year won't be enough to stand still nevermind improve. Either they back the manager proper or they may as well bring in the cheapest possible option and admit their only ambition is to avoid relegation.

He came as close to throwing them under a bus as he could there. Didn't single anyone out, but the entire emphasis was 'when they have to show quality and desire to win, they can't. We need more quality and better attitude in the summer'
