Seems fitting to make my first post on this day. I am saddened to think earlier this season that we had the chance to match teams such as Tottenham for 4th place. Although there is the smallest of chances we could still nick it, though not likely after today's performance. It is indeed a nervy time' with a manager looking set to leave and some quality players with him. Although I am more worried about our great young players leaving, and also bringing in players this summer. I am bewildered as to why the likes of Duffy, Barkley vellios haven't featured more often, especially when our supposed top players are out of form. Ii noticed how overwhelmed the centre of the park was today. What has happened the past ten years? Graveson and carsley, great,Cahill arteta great today Neville and Osman did no way seem valid replacements. I worry that we do not have gritty determined centre midfielders. I believe jelavic needs another sstriker with him, though doubt we cannot afford a top draw St. Can't blamer fellainis poor form today he's playing out of position as bass Naismith this season. My front 6 would be ... Pieenar Fellini Gibbo Mirallad midfield and jela Naismith up top. To end, if Moyes goes and we get a new manager I hope we get new owners in at the same time for some positive change, fed up of identical seasons year in year out. Apologies for my grammar I'm using a tablet

I don't think we should single Fellaini out for stick any more than anyone else. He has carried this team for large parts of the season, and his frustration at today's total no-show from everyone in blue was understandable.

The truth is that he IS now too good to stay at Everton, as it is clear that we will never be able to win a trophy or break into the CL under the current regime.

Disagree mate- as our "best" player, he should have been taking the game to the opposition and leading by example. Instead he played woefully, looked disinterested and had the front to actually criticise the fans who paid a lot to go to the game today when he turned his back on the ball which he had lost and was 5 yards away from him.

He was a f*cking joke. Like playing with 10 men at times.

Welcome!

Good first post.

Can you manage a football team by any chance?

Any potential buyers who saw Fellanis ATTITUDE today will not be prepared to pay top dollar for him.

Disagree.
He'll have no shortage of suitors in the summer.
He's playing for a club that can't match his ambition. He can't win every match for us. I agree , it would have been better to get his head down, but I can also fully understand his negative reaction, like thinking "what's the point?". The fans should cut him some slack- if anyone's earnt it, Fellaini has.

I'll never understand this.

I really don't know mate. Today was so unexpected and that's why it hurts so much. Nobody looked bothered, at all. We were outclassed by a team in the relegation zone at home. Major changes needed all round.

It was like a nightmare that no matter how hard I tried; I couldn't wake up from.

A sad, sad day dude, it's all falling apart in an unexpected way :((

Lets round it up.

Mucha - 4/10 P45 for you son.
Coleman - 5/10 woeful today lad.
Heitinga - 4/10 Kone ran you into the ground today and you never got close. Sod off back to anywhere with your awful attitude.
Distin - 5/10 its all well and good pointing the finger at other markers after the corner has come in FFS. A rare player whos brain seems to have gone before his legs have.
Baines - 6/10 our superstar supreme today, first half the only player to be able to control the ball, passing was well off though.
Mirallas - 5/10 and people gave Gravesen the 'headless chicken' moniker. I'd be a billionaire now if I could find a bookie that would give me odds on our Kevin picking the wrong bleeding option every bleeding time.
Osman - 4/10 been off the pace for weeks if not months, his game requires much more energy to help quell opponents than Carsleys game ever did and so many games and knocks into the season hes simply goosed.
Neville - 0/10 Findus needs to get this nag into some microwave lasagnes ASAP !!!
Pienaar - 4/10 Bad bad bad by his standards, first touch of a wrecking ball and the passing was even worse. One of his worst games ever. Ever.
Fellaini - 3/10 petulent, started lashing out as it wasnt going his way (decisions) and basically bottled it. Not good enough from a supposed CL superstar to be.
Jelavic - 3/10 Hardly saw him except for when I noticed a blue shirt on the deck. Is he wearing Anichebes old boots?

Anichebe/Barkley/Gibson - all thrown on when the game was over, no scores for these as the damage was done to such an extent they'd have needed to raise Lazarus 3 times to make it count and Easter is miles away.

Moyes - a big fat ZERO. Instead of trying to out think the opposition just give it a go and play to our strengths instead of trying to be too clever. Its fiasco's like todays that are the noose tightening around his neck.

Embarrassing.

I agree. We expected to win today and it must have been very frustrating for the players that nothing they tried today came off. It's very unusual for us to go 3-0 down in any match and we just couldn't get ourselves back in the game. Neville, Osman and Mirallas vented their frustration with some over-zealous tackling. It's difficult to stay motivated when it feels like what you're doing is futile and I'm sure it will be forgotten once the dust has settled.

Fellaini had murder with us in the paddock effing and geffing with fans, the cheeky meff, doing ****in flicks an ****, when were 3 nil down :@

Moyes can **** off playing Neville over Gibson out of choice and Fellaini can **** off giving the fans loads for having the audacity to horrendously suggest he should try and win back the ball he's just lost instead of turn away from like he's not arsed. Bottles every one of them. Distin the only one who had a decent game.

....today was a fantastic opportinity against a team. We couldn't ask for much more that a home draw in quarter final against a team fighting relegation. Its bad enough we get beat but there is no excuse for not having a go and that was the case with a few.
I suspect a few of the boys are carrying knocks, the form of light-weights in particular (Osman, Pienaar & Baines) suggests this is the case.
The main problem for me is that we had a great opportunity to gain a bit of momentum in the transfer window but failed miserably. We were in a fabulous position at that point. We were at a crossroads and the board chose to keep their hands in their pockets and hope for the best. They have let down fans who deserve more.
