We belong with the also rans. So there are lots of important games coming up, including Watford, Brighton and Stoke.

Today, I'd say that the relegated teams will come from those below Bournemouth. Places are very tight, so three points can bring a big change.

But if we can't score, I can't see where we will get our points from. And I'm not sure that things will change today. I think Sam will fear a West Brom goal from a corner or free kick. So he could play three centre halves.
We’ll win OK today.

Sam’s defensive first game plan was fatally flawed as we had no pace to counter and no one to convert the chances when they did finally occur. To be fair to Sam, he has addressed this with Tosun and Walcott. Bolasie is also a very welcome returnee in this respect.

LB is still the big issue though and I honestly would try any of our young defenders in there now.

I just want us to go at them, and I don’t mean to restore the golden point when they’ve gone one up, I mean the entire game.
Give us the first decent performance in months, is that too much to ask?

The Gravy Guzzler has been blagging all week. There’s no “more boring approach” happening today.

He’ll go for the jugular with an attacking 3-2-3-1-1 formation along the lines of:

Pickford
Kenny Holgate Williams
Gana McCarthy
Walcott Rooney Bolasie
Iceland
Turkey

No left back.

Three at the back, McCarthy and Gana as the insurance, Walcott and Bolasie playing somewhere between wing back and winger, Rooney dictating the play with Iceland being a proper 10 and Cenk being an about and out centre forward.

Ahhhhhh...Bisto!
