Hopefully, Allardyce will play an attacking team and lay siege to WBA's goal and notch up a shots on target record. Surely, he has to go for it and not play a cagey, let's way and see approach. 3-1 to the blues.

Pardew has just said he would 'take a point' today if it was offered 'and that it is their home form which will save them. Seems like there could be a bus parked at each end...its not football, its a recreation of Shearings Warrington Interchange...buses parked everywhere...

Should be a comfortable 3-0 win. The Baggies are hopeless, they haven't won an away game since August, and they won't know what hit them today.

:celebrate:

Today could be the day when Fat Sam tears up his tactical manual and goes on the attack.

The onus should be on us mate because West Brom will do what we did to them and park the bus and hope to nick one, I just can't see Allardyce going for it though, first and foremost he won't want to get beat, especially with it being West Brom, wouldn't surprise me to see him go with 3 holding midfielders.

Don't be saying things like that as we all know that we love gifting clubs and players the chance to break their droughts.

Not gonna happen today, Phil. I stick with my easy 3-0 prediction.

I like your optimism! Unfortunately however, year's of enduring 'that's Everton that' moments have turned me into the occasional cynic.

To be fair however you've got a fair point: I don't rate Pardew so the ol' days of Pulis style dogged resilience may have hopefully seeped away.

Well, I'll be happy with more than one shot on target to be fair!
