You can all go doom and gloom but they have had a right leg up in this game off Pickford and the post.

They are a top side, we are still a work in progress and have given them a game causing them problems.

We are close to being a top side, few more signings and we'll get there under Silva.

They have completely controlled the game from start to finish up to now. Even when we scored. Our defending is appalling it's just like watching us under Martinez and the less said about Pickford the better.

That's funny as they have played long balls most of the game particularly down Colemans wing.......

They gave the whole center circle to themselves, thats where all the balls are getting played from.

...they play purposeful through balls, though, Joey. Tremendous movement splits our CBs and leaves gaps for their runners. We know how dangerous Kane is but he still finds himself free of Keane and Zouma.

Next goal is key, this scoreline could be anything but they have more quality than us where it matters most.

They have highlighted Colemans wing as he now sadly lacks pace we should have deffo been 2-0 up game changer that bad decision.......

It is baffling how we’ve gone backwards again after going on a decent run, after a wobbly start!

My concern is that Silva (and Richarlison!) has an initial impact that can’t be backed up by longer-term ability.

Time will tell.

I totally agree, and the worry now it we will be back yo square one next season with yet another new manager. We need to spend at least 100 million in the Jan window, will that happen?

Shearer and Sherwood are the pundits on what I’m watching...spent most time analysing Pickford tackle on Deli Ali...neither like Everton at all. Mind you, neither do I at the moment lol

That's fine - I agree.

But Zouma shouldn't stop. He shouldn't give a damn what Pickford does. He should clear it.

Can understand the confusion, but I think someone like Jags (not that I'd advocate him in over Zouma) would just take everything out and clear it. That's my point.

Maybe he got a shout from Pickford?

If Pickford decided to come he should have been been clearing the ball & Zouma if needed.

Pickford doesn’t make that mistake and we are able to counter attack. Instead, we are going to be exposed chasing the lead. Now chasing a draw

League position is not the be all end all. Pointless having BFS here if you know you won't have any shots on goal and no intention on playing football. How do you progress playing not to lose and long balls.

Because maybe big Sam was doing the best style for the poor players he had to get results. Silva has much better players and is doing considerably worse

If you look at Marcos last season at Watford himself and Richarlison performed poorly in the second half after a promising start. Seems to be reoccurring again. Would love us to show some grit and get back into this but I just can't see it. There too fast and decisive for us. Sure we make defensive errors but we can't live with these when they step up. How much money do you need to keep throwing down the grid before we beat one of these teams. I'm psyched for second half. Cmon Marco, cmon Everton. Need Mccarthy, at his fittest, back In there. Need some steel. Here's hopin for a miracle.
