while that's true, it's also true that we don't have a team yet that can reliably beat the likes of newcastle or leeds. we're miles off the actual top4, this is just a weird season and imo we're really overachieving with our current table situation - 3tps off 4th with 2 games in hand

Interesting that spurs are set up to play on the break, but teams who have pushed them back and dominated possession have had success against them recently . Carlo has us set up very defensive but maybe this is a game to try and push on a bit more.

Take each game as it comes. Recent games the players are starting to get the message. They're showing a fight. They need to take some of the spirit from the Leeds game and second half against Man U back to Goodison no more games like West Ham and Newcastle. It's 3 home games in a week then them lot.
