Thought Gylfi and Richarlison were excellent but Davies was another level tonight. All over the pitch all game. Breaking up attacks, driving forwards, pinging the ball about, just excellent.

Shame the defence wasn't to the same standard.

You have a point. Those lads worked exceptionally hard tonight.
However, without Siggy’s vision today we would be out of the cup. He wasn’t bought for his work rate, same as Rodriguez, he was bought for his ability to score a goal or create one with one killer pass. Today he did that.
Next game might be very different of course.
