I am not a fan of Tom Davies but if I had a hat I would be doffing it to him tonight. What a shift the lad put in.

If we could put his heart into some of the more talented players we’d really be onto something!

Davies absolutely brilliant there, top class. Looks like he’s loving his football again, made up for the kid. One of us!

Docoure and Godfrey brilliant aswel, Siggurdson as much as I hate him had a good game aswel, credit where it’s due. Don’t know what he was doing on them corners though.

Honestly the last 2 games are the kind of promise he shown when he first came through. Much improved.

One of Davies best performances for me. Growing under Carlo. Doucoure top quality again too. Love how Richy goes from sulky face to sheer joy when he scores.

They were knackered as well! That was the one thing that made me think we might win it. They looked sluggish after we got the fifth! Was it really 5!

Crazy game, but we've come through it! Normally Everton would find a way to lose that, but this is a different Everton, this is the Don Carlos Everton. We still have to win three more games, but in any trophy winning campaign, it's games like tonight's that people will look back as a turning point. Really showing the balls and character, to get a win in a game of this importance, should be huge going forward.
