Should have kept Naisy on alongside Lukaku up-front. Taking off one of the few goal threats we have was madness when we were chasing a goal.

Cracking game. Ross had a great game, wonderful control and vision; inch perfect passing. Swansea were chasing shadows. Baines with some excellent corners for a change, really whipping them in on a six-pence. McGeady was dog turd as usual but still, we bossed that from start to finish.

Well played everton.
I know it is all about opinions but I thought Barkley had his worst game for us today. Can't remember one forward pass to a team mate and lost the ball countless times. He was well supported by Naismith for being really poor. We needed Osman on to try and get a pass to feet in the box. Three shots on target against ten men when we had the ball from start to finish.

Attacking wise, that was one horror show.

Had that sort of game quite a lot last season, plenty of possession but unable to break down a good, well drilled defence.

Osman sometimes managed it last year as a sub but because of Alcaraz early injury we were limited by how much we could change things. Well played by Swansea, they came for a point and got it.

Hope Antolin's injury isn't as serious as it looked.

pftt. Besic had a decent game. Very broken up game. Lots of fouls. We don't have enough goals from midfield: McCarthy, Barry, Besic, McGeady. None of them are egoing to get you goals. So if your strikers aren't firing, the goals dry up.

This a massive problem, the lack of goals from the midfield cos none of them is a player that makes late runs into the box. None of them have a capability to score from distance. This is what the plan B could have been....send crosses in the box and try to tee someone up for a long ranger. You never know when those deflections happen or otherwise.

Credit to Swansea though, they're a smart team. They'll do well this season if they keep that up.

Agree mate, they went out with a plan to press us as much as they could and later on to drop deep and stick 10 then 9 behind the ball, as well as being a bit snide when they had too, can see them getting a fair few draws or sneaking wins against the 'top 8' this year, reminded me a bit of Pullis's palace from last year ;o

Swansea are really nothing special at the back and they've dealt with us fairly comfortably there. Very disappointing performance from our attackers.

Ross needs to play behind the striker, not Naismith.
But mate.. but

You cant drop Nais, anyone but Nais. He's our... he's our little Nais, top scorer. Got to find a way to make way for Nais mate. Are you on crack, not Nais. Top scorer aint he.

Not Nais mate.
