I have just seen the game. Immediate comments:

Wonderful goal.
DCL is not to be played on the wide right ever again
Keane was a great buy
Pickford is a diamond
Rooney's legs turn to lead in the final 20, but class is permanent...he's a footballer and a half
Klaassen and Sandro need time to bed in to this league
We will win a lot of games 1-0 unless we get a bona fide striker
Cuco is one of the best crossers in the game...we need a target man.

Baines was neither here nor there, totally Isolated in a wingbacks midfield no mans land
Williams is starting to look like Koeman's Alcarez.
Jagielka was never Beckenbuer even on his best day and yet on too many occasions it fell to him to play the ball out from the back = Hoooooof.
Martina - not his fault he was signed, not his fault he's barely average...Koeman's Niasse?? If we had a really good team we could 'carry' him like the 69-70 team 'carried' Sandy...until he got found out. But we haven't got a really good team. Half of our team can barely carry themselves.

Always enjoy your posts mate; they fly in the face of mediocre conventional default settings. Only thing I'd take issue with is Cuco. I suggest Cuco is Koeman's Lukaku...a masterful signing: a wonderful crosser of the ball and a marauding wide runner.
I am not sure whether it's been said before, but I reckon Cuco is going to be a polarising figure

The game was a bit 'meh', but that goal was top drawer: its construction and its execution was of the highest quality

No one had a bad game really. Just glad we got the 3 points against a dire side we would probably beat easily if we were in our stride.
