Gueye and Holgate both fantastic (what's new?). Not the best performance, but with better finishing it's a 2 or 3 goal win (what's new?). Defensively sound (what's new?). 7 points out of 9. Not bad at all.

Agree with the shouts for Holgate and Gueye, both superb. Barry and Williams also good.

How nice is it to have a goalie who comes out to claim or punch crosses.

Nervy last ten minutes for me. Can't moan at 3 points. Delighted with our points tally after 3 games. Good start for Koeman. Hopefully we can add another couple of new faces and build from this.

Genuinely interested to see how this season is going to play out.

COYB!

Love Saturdays with 3 points in the bag. Gonna be a good day!

Yet another game we would have bottled last season.
The changes are there to see - played Everton :)

However, if there was ever an advert for how much we need another striker to put pressure on Rom, this was it.

We rely on his goals far too much and when he isn't on it, we struggle to convert chances elsewhere.
We dominated Stoke for the vast majority of the game and this should have been way more comfortable, we had the chances!

Still, pleased with how more sturdy our defence is looking. Gueye & Holgate superb again and our attacking play (goal impotency aside) looks aggressive and exciting.

Work still to do, but a win against these yellow toothed, sister bothering, neck tattoo wearing tramps is a good result!

COYB! :D

Now, to the alehouse! And make haste!

Clean sheet AND we won possession

Where is Robertos god now?
!

Near the centre of the earth, trident in hand and cackling as the Belgium manager's 24 years of good fortune - in exchange for his soul - trickle slowly away. Second by second....

Everton are the Team GB of the Premier League - sitting nicely in 2nd place in the table, splitting the 'superpowers' and getting Clare Balding excited.
