Until we get some decent players on the bench we're playing for somewhere between 6th and 10th

Q) Hand on heart, if Tosun, Lookman, Walcott, DCL, Davies and Bernard we all abducted by aliens would we be bemoaning the loss of a golden generation that tore the heart out of the team...also add in Baines and The Stek.

A) No...and until better upgrades are sourced this is us - 6th to 10th

Agree apart from bernard....willing to give him a bit more time lid...

Against teams like this that park the bus, gana and Coleman offer nothing . I would have put siggy along side gomes and played Bernard 10 when he made his subs . Nobody played well today, everyone has off days and when that happens the team can carry him, but when 6-7 of them have them at once it turns out like last night. Their goal was very basic and could have been prevented by any of our defence not making mistakes or bad decisions , Coleman was best to easily , Mina missed his clearance, digne stopped tracking Rondon and I didn’t even see where zouma was.

Losing the way we did on Sunday was hard to take, but somehow drawing at home against these freaks has irritated me more and left me more grumpy.

On the plus side, we're now a good enough team that other sides come with the intention of parking the bus. On the other good side we're doing well enough that I'm unhappy with a draw. Last season it would've been meh - a point's a point.

Since we did Benitez become Marki Hughsi? Never expected him to set up so negatively against us. It got him a point but I always thought he tried to actually play football with his teams. It really was a terrible game.
I've never known Benitez try and play football with his teams he's always tried to make them difficult to beat then add one or two class players to make things happen.
