Every bit as special and amazing as I'd hoped. Perfect night all round.

Glad you enjoyed your first time at Goodison mate!

My first time at Goodison was against Newcastle weirdly enough. It was a 10th birthday present and it was the game that saw us seal 4th place and qualify for the CL.

Weir in the first half, Cahill in the second. 2-0. Sat right up in the main stand.

Good win well done blues ! Need to get a few wins on the bounce now to push up the table !!!

Lets hope the clean sheet breeds confidence into the defense. Was Stones injured today ?

Who mate?
I was in row A upper gt3 101.had to listen the whole game to a pair of blokes behind me moaning about everything none stop and not one positive word said.really depressed me and spoilt it for me.When kone skied that one near the end they got up and said"on that note we are off".they left before barkleys cheeky peno.people like that should stay well away from goodison in my opinion.I won't be taking that seat again.Morons.

Well said.

tell you what lads it was important. The threat of being dragged into the relegation battle ( and it was there have no doubt ) disappears in the rear view mirror and we can look forward to a winnable 5th round v Bournemouth with anticipation instead of irritation. Win that and we have a season of possibility despite all the failings.
Erm...you know you're talking about Everton right?

Fun to win again. I do wonder how both the Newcastle matches would have turned out if Mitrovic knew how to finish from 6 yards out. Missed a free header in the away match and couldn't hit the frame on a golden chance today. Ah well, who cares...More wins please now.

anyone know were to watch highlights?

net went off whilst watching the game ffs gutted missed goals
seen the sexy barkley pen like
