Extremely annoying conceding two goals so vastly against the run of play, just like last week.

Complacency sat in big time at in the second half. We kept trying the spectacular when we just needed to hold on to the ball.

We´re still absolute mustard though. Best team in the league at the moment, behind Arsenal.

did seem pretty open, especially when jags ran 50 yards up the pitch, wonder how much of that was martinez? under moyes we would have stayed one nil up ay half time and lost 1-2:lol:

Newcastle were poor going forward, but looking at the way we were so wasteful with the ball in that second half I couldn't help but think we were there for the taking. A better side that are good going forward, such as the sh*te, I feel, would have gone and taken at least a point and capitalised on our nerviness.

Yes, we should have put them to the sword; but they had a great hit to get them back into it and then we just tried to contain the situation for the most part. The Cabaye goal saved them from a hiding.

spot on mate, definitely best team so far except Arsenal. We have shown flair, desire, discipline, backs to the wall, on the front foot, unpredictable and the odd cock up thrown in. All makes it a little bit exciting and in a greedy **** kind of way I think we should be top of the league tbh as a minimum 2 of the 3 first games we should have won.

Roberto is smashing it and i'm over the moon, alot of journos around pre season didn't give us a look in with their cliche season predictions as though we weren't going to challenge, plucky old Everton and all that jazz. Martinez though pitys the fools who think Everton can't challenge, his transfers have been boss and our squad depth was noted as we didn't exactly miss Pienaar and Gibbo who were crucial first team players for us last season. Our style of football is different and i reckon exciting, we've got loads of boss little partnerships growing between players, Lukaku and Barkley looked like they'd been kicking a ball around together since they were kids tonight, boss that two class players are on the same wavelength. McCarthy was excellent tonight, Coleman is naughty on the right and seems to want to add more goals to his game as of late, can hit them aswell as Williamsons red raw nipples can confirm.

Ross Barkley, Wow will do.

love this post, spot on mate. While we are unbeaten and just won 3 games on the spin I'm just gonna enjoy it!

Yeah, we are still a work in progress at the minute as well. Imagine how good we can be in a couple of seasons when Martinez has got rid of the players he doesn't fancy and got a few more in of the ones he does. We need to find a permanent Lukaku next season as well. Someone who scares central defenders to death.

It's great to be an Evertonian right now.

Great point about squad depth! We were crap without Gibson last year. He'll struggle to get into our side now!

Just turned that MNF off, listening to Carra-lar is like listening to a kid pulling his fingers nails down a blackboard!
Painful, can`t stand the ****, going on about Ladyboy and Gerard, **** off!

Actually forgot we had Pienaar to come back into the team too. Exciting times ahead indeed
