And Digne passes to Dom instead of hitting the post and we are leading. We have a decent enough team but it is a bit thin. Seamus was a weak link today but he is so far ahead of any RB we could put on the bench. We are an inconsistent team and we massively overrate our players. Its boom.and bust for us really. 4 really solid games followed by 1 point from 12.
Pressure is a huge part of it too. These players can't hack any sort of expectation whatsoever and don't have the guts to dig out a result on a difficult day. None of then ever take responsibility to push the team forward.
We are a midtable team and that's the reality. Unfortunately the reality hurts and its pretty disheartening that we still are so far off where we want to be. Until we find ways to respond to setbacks and to cope with high expectations, we are going nowhere.
6th would be great this year and should have been attainable but can we seriously trust these players to do the business? Losing doesnt matter to them. Too many are here for money and winning is an afterthought.
I mean he was everywhere he shouldn’t be in the first half - as he has been consistently for the last few gamesAllan was man of match hands down. He was everywhere.
Bernard and Digne have a much better understanding of each other than Richarlison and Digne seem to have. It's so frustrating.First 30 minutes we actually caused them problems. That spell before our goal was really positive.
we just can’t defend though and the midfield is getting dragged all over the place
time for a rethink, Carlo
bernard played well - motm for us, not that it was hard - but he’s not consistent enough to push us on.
has to start v Fulham, though. Get a change of shape and attack them

Yea, all clubs and managers under pressure plus retired players love to play this comfy team...I like Everton giving back to the community, just not like this.
Maybe the international break is a good time for an ayahuasca retreat in new mexico. Can't hurt. Our club needs a spiritual energy cleanse. I mean that.
