They’re only ringing if you let it, too many fans are starting to look backwards instead of thinking and acting positively.

You think City and their fans wrote themselves off after shipping 5 to Leicester? They haven’t lost a game since

The RS shipped 7 at Villa, did they go into meltdown, no they got behind their team and they haven’t lost since

It’s about damn time we stopped thinking like a small team looking over our shoulders and acted like a big team again
That’s not down the fans to have that attitude, is it? Especially at this moment in time when we literally can’t make any difference because we aren’t there.

As a club, we cannot compete. It doesn’t matter what we do.

Talk a good game but never deliver. That’s Everton.

Out of our new signings, I still think Allan is quality and James needs some time to get back. Doucoure not impressing me though - hes just not doing what we thought he could. It's either the system or he's not good enough either

Do you need to ask yourself that? We bought him from a relegated team!

Instead of floating victim narratives you should perhaps be asking why it so often happens that derby matches derail Everton’s season by triggering a subsequent run of bad results. Playing badly for the immediate sequence of matches after games with Liverpool has been an Everton thing for long enough to not require a refereeing conspiracy to explain this latest instance of the phenomenon.
Ah free transfer welcome nice to see a balanced and honest first post from you

True but without Richy, the attack still has something to offer if the midfield was more balanced.

I thought Bernard was really good today. Was our most creative outlet, got our goal. But he won't do much tracking back...then on the other side James won't either.

So instead of a midfield supporting the attack and allowing them to work, we're a bit disjointed.

Look at Chelsea. Play a similar system but basically have Kante and Jorginho sitting while they let 4 attackers do their work.

It's on coaching a bit.

Allan needs to be told he has to stop hunting the ball.

Even when Richy comes back, there has to be more balance to the team.

Bernard did enough to start v Fulham. We've fingers crossed got Richarlison to come in. Carlo has two weeks to think how to change the system and, at least with Allan and Doucoure and Gomes, can get them on the training pitch and drilled into them.
