The media will just talk about how United lost the game and what the loss means for them.
Does it matter though?

We beat them, we beat Chelsea and who cares what they talk about because the table will show that we are in position to challenge for the Champions League spot.

It's all about winning.

Everybody knows that the table determines who plays in which competitions.

The Media can say what they like and it won't matter one iota.

Just been watching half hour of Utd vs Everton goals on Sky to get me in the mood.

Wish Fellaini was playing today, he scored and set up some pearlers for us against that lot when he was here, beat them 3 seasons on the bounce at Goodison when he was here.

Shout out to Oviedo arriving late at the back post to seal victory as well, beautiful Bri, beautiful memories.

Bizarre that the Oviedo win was actually an awful performance and United even as bad as they were should have put us away that day with Rooney and Fellaini both missing open goals practically. Martinez got lucky that first season on numerous occasions and that was one of them. We’ve played a lot better at Old Trafford against far better United teams but come away with less.

He was awful for the first part of the season. However this could be said for quite a few players.

The past since Ferguson/Carlo took over. I thought he had really stepped up a bit and was becoming alot more useful, more direct. Perhaps a bit more confident. Definately was becoming more effective.

He gets in positions that he just needs to shoot early and I think he has a hesitation in him that asks the question "is there a pass?".. I dont mind any player taking a pop at goal, he just needs to do it quicker.

But yes, definately been much improved the past chunk of games.

Agreed been good lately and we are limited in the natural RW positions at least with Richo up front. I didn't realise how many chances he misses until he joined us though, the Arsenal supporters warned us about that too.

Walcott has been very effective when he's played this season. Tell you what...try to watch games objectively, without an agenda...the 'knocking Walcott' scenario is last years news.
Im not sure if effective is the right word. He has always been great getting in behind etc but his final ball/touch/shout is then very ineffective. I think that's why he annoys people so much

He hasn’t been effective, if you mean creating and scoring goals.

Im not a Walcott hater but he’s nowhere near productive enough for a wide attacking player.

We need to be all over these today from the first whistle. Huge game this if we want to be playing in Europe next season, hope it’s noisy and hostile there today.

2-0
Holgate/Gomes

A win today basically allows our next 2 to be free hits as it were.

A loss or draw and it puts massive pressure on us needing to win away at Stamford Bridge and taking atleast a point in the derby - 2 things we aint very good at doing.

It seems utd are on a upturn of form since that new Portuguese midfield was signed..just hope he doesn't start with our two slow arsed midfield and goes with Gomes, otherwise they wil dominate the middle of the park
