Midfield worries me now we are relying on Gomes returning from a nasty injury and Delph or Davies to be dm. When neither have been up to standard all season.

How does everyone elses mentality go? I started really confident Tuesday/Wednesday but as it gets closer to kick off I seem to get pessimistic. Is that a sign of most Evertonians.

It was confirmed by the club earlier in the week: he has had surgery on his knee, so will be out for the next five to six weeks.

Really hope we can win, we are capable physically but mentally I can see United dealing with the importance of this game better than our lads which may be the deciding factor. Every time we've a chance to capitalise on opportunities with this squad they mess it up
