We'll win this and go on to lose againsg Bournemouth.
Any game we go into vs Bournemouth is a game I go into less confident of a positive result than against any team...aside from Liverpool. If our survival depends on beating Bournemouth in the final fixture, then we are relegation bound.
I reckon we can get something against City though...

I have a bad feeling that we are going to need a results against city....with a draw the minimum required...whilst they are both facing though opposition, I can see either leeds or Leicester to get an unexpected results in the next 2 games...

We get anything from this and it's a massive bonus. Saving grace is the teams arround us all have really tough games, so the chances are we are unlikely to lose ground if we lose. That said, we go into this confident on the back of 2x really good attacking performances. We will want this more than city. Make them run their legs off and out work them, like we did at Brighton.

Same team v Brighton.

I think we'll see 5/6 changes for City:
Ortega
Laporte
Mahrez
Foden
Alvarez
Phillips

They are still obviously strong but those changes could cost them that edge.

If we start strongly we can shake them up.

I think we can get something here especially when Arsenal play Brighton who will want to improve their AMAZING defeat against us.

A draw would be huge and, if other results go the way you'd expect/hope, I think that would be enough to have me feeling pretty confident

Unlikely though - I won't be too down if we lose this game provided neither Leicester nor Leeds win and as long as it isn't a hammering which affects our GD too much

A free hit after beating Brighton. The most important thing for me is to not waste the improvement in the goal difference that achieved. Confidence should be sky high and can see us getting a draw. I wouldn't be surprised if we sneaked a win either but won't be downhearted if we lose by one goal.

City will see this as an expected win, and will know they'll likely end the day in second place, albeit with a game in hand, if they end up drawing with us.

They will almost certainly rotate, what with knowing a 0-0 draw is good enough versus Madrid next week, just three days after our game.

There's no way Guardiola gets Haaland and De Bruyne playing 90 minutes here. My guess is that they both start on the bench and only come on if they're not winning with 25 minutes to go.

Even if we beat them they still have the title in their own hands, so hopefully that plays into our hands.

I'd much prefer playing City at home, who are in between games against Real Madrid, than an away game against an 'easier' team or a fresher top six side at home.

No words of wisdom or insight to be had here. We're almost certainly going to get hammered, so essentially, we have a free swing at City. We might as well just be optimistic and go for it. The worst case scenario is that result goes exactly the way we thought it would. So long as the effort and fight is there from the team for the duration of the game I'll be ok with that.
