Watching City v Madrid, the commentators were just insufferable but when I heard "Man City looking leggy" its music to the ears. Not like they can field an entirely different team and still win the league mind. But there's no better time to play them.

From an Everton point of view , I suppose that Man City 1-1 draw tonight , was the best result that we could have wished for. They won’t , I’m sure , risk all their first 11 against us. And yes , I know that their second string will be strong , but who do we want to face. Haaland or that Alvarez guy. I could go through their full team , but you all know what I mean. So at a guess , we will be facing a “weakened “ Man City on Sunday. Sorry for banging on about this , but imo that has to be a little in our favour. We all know that Man City have numerous great footballers. But we could face a team selection that hasn’t played much football together. That has to be to our advantage. And I’ll take every advantage that we can get.
Let’s hope that we can play like we did last night. That would really help our cause. I’d be disappointed if City do field a second string , and we don’t turn up.
All conjecture, and who knows what will happen , but I think that we have a chance of getting something from this match.
Now this is my last comment , I promise .
If City do field a “weakened”team , and we beat them , does that mean , that Leeds utd and Leicester city will then officially complain to the premier league. Isn’t that what teams that don’t get their way , do. Especially Leeds utd.

Well, the only time anyone got a result against them is when they're been wedged in between cup games or Europe. Which includes Nottm Forest, Southampton, Brentford and Villa.
