Player Valuation: £6m
Schneiderlin is to slow in midfield, while not awful he doesnt have the mobility to protect the back four.
How can we expect to break the top 6 when we sell our most important player for 30 Mill to the richest club in the world. Would any of the top 6 have done so unless he was out of contact?Every year I think it's our year to break the big 6. Then I remember that we're utter turd.
DCL is NOT a prem lge striker ! In my opinion never has been never will be. Derby/ Blackburn at best. Poor control and a "holder" target man. Not a goalscorer. He is still playing like we have Gana.
Which was always going to be the main problem of selling him.
The 'poor in both boxes' line. He can't finish chances for the team, at the end of the day. I understand what you're saying but he doesn't make DCL miss from a yard out.
Keane was ball watching. He should never have got such an easy header. You don't try to push out when you see its KDB. It's certainly not easy to defend but we have to be better.
3 straight losses. 8 conceded. 12 conceded in last 6 overall. It's shambolic. Our centre backs are not doing their job.
I can't understand why people assume it's just a blip. We saw exactly the same last year for 2 months.
I doubt he'll change. He does the same every week. He has no previous to suggest he's good enough to manage everton. I have no faith and think it's inevitable he goes and would rather it happens before were out of both cups in January.

Hmm, I'm not sure on that.
We did make the most of their defensive issues. To say we didn't cause them problems wouldn't be true. Their goalkeeper made three top-class saves.
Of course we could have been better but we went toe-to-toe with them and they're a better side. You can say 'wide open' defensively but that's because we were pushing up to try and do them the other way. They are an incredible team and they showed it.
They brought on three of the best 15 players in world football when it was 1-1. They have those options. We don't.
It's not an excuse but losing to City - this City team, even with their problems at the back - is not the end of the world. At least because we showed more grit and determination and intent than in most games this season.
It's not good enough. Burnley's a must-win. Everyone involved in the club and playing side, from DoF down, needs to sharpen up. Silva needs to be told to be more proactive. If he isn't, he'll have to go. And Brands has to have a long hard look at his dealings this summer because frankly they haven't been up to scratch leaving the squad in such short supply in certain areas.
I think you’re being a bit harsh on Brands. He has a complete mess to sort out. Our net spend was low in comparison to what needs to be spent to bring in players that will make a significant difference and our wages as a percentage of turnover are dangerously high - what do you expect him to do without the level of resources required?
I’m also frustrated that we are short in key positions, but if the players we wanted were not available or affordable, the solution is not to repeat the mistakes of the past few years and overpay for second best.
It's probably an unpopular opinion, but I had Schneiderlin down as MOTM for us.
For once, he had options to pass to in front of him, and, again for once, he wasn't afraid to play the ball forward, which made him look ten times the player he looks like when he's in crab mode.
Coleman for me, personally.
Thought that was probably his best performance in about a season.
