Shows how unrealistic some of fans support are when the best manager in the world with a billion pound squad were put on the back foot, and some people aren’t happy. We are miles behind them and have no player that would make their squad
Unfortunately this is correct....pick any one of their subs to day and they would be our best player.....by miles

Felt like this for a while to be honest but to me we just don’t feel like Everton anymore I can’t put my finger on how or why it’s gotten to this but now I just watch out of habit, I dont even celebrate goals anymore I’m devastated it’s come to this because this club was my life. I think all the false dawns and the let downs over the years have just sucked all the optimism and hope out of me

Your right! Maine Rd to The Etihad , with the help of the Sand People. It could have been us but we rejected the advances before they moved to City. ANOTHER poor decision from the Everton board.in my opinion.

ONLY way back to compete is a MASSIVE cash injection. But this board will never splash the cash. Need to be bought out, enter the new stadium and find a manager somewhere near the top two. DREAMS !!!!!!

Thought we did ok to be fair, there was more effort made today than all the other matches put together this season.
Went with 60 grand as he was our best player by far, loved the way he went past groups of 2 or 3 of their players more than once and bombed on down the right.
If he plays like that every game Sidibe will have a long wait for a league game.

I can't argue with the attitude or application today.

Unfortunately, Silva failed again with his subs. At 1-1 he needed to be proactive. On the hour, bring Davies on and go at them. As it was we got deeper and deeper.

But overall if we play like that we'll win 9/10 games. City are incredible.

Ultimately though, Burnley's already looking like a must win.

I'm never happy to lose at home.

In fact two home defeats in a week should be unheard of. It's a crisis.

That city defence is absolutely diabolical and we only scored once. They will lose plenty.

We defended abysmally and our keeper was laughable.

We have a manager who can't win points from behind and can't find a balance needed to win matches.

We've spent an absolute bomb to be worse than we were under Moyes by some margin.

We are a running joke. We are an embarrassment. It's getting harder to stomach the ineptitude we see every week on and off the field.

So no I'm not happy. I'm very realistic that we are some way off the top teams. But bottom 5 is unacceptable and we need to be ashamed of that. All I see is people saying chin up, we did alright.

I can't have this plucky little everton nonsense. It's horrible.

Unfortunately Tim we are an average team with average players and an average manager.

We are where we are.

We did play well today. But not well enough. Our manager again did not use our squad well enough when we needed a change.

But even in the dark days it was different. Feels like a team of generic journeymen in an Everton shell
