The performance was more committed than has been recently (a disgrace I feel the need to type that).

The game felt like a 'brave loss', the one you might see where a non-league side play a Premier League side in the FA Cup and aren't humiliated but at no point look like winning. It reminded me a lot of our narrow losses to one of the top sides during Walter Smith's reign.

The defending from set plays is embarrassing and I don't see it improving under Silva, he's either too stubborn or incapable of rectifying the issue.

It's all very predictable and a tad depressing presently.

You would think he would have a discussion with the players...an inquest as it were....after each game when goals we conceded are analysed and soloutions sought, woukd you not?

But by the looks of it there isn’t.

I'm sure it isn't the case, but it's as if shoulders are shrugged after each loss and we move on to the next game - where the same things happen again, especially set piece wise.

The club (from the board down) accepts defeat far too easily. It's been that way for a long time now. We need a new mentality before it catches up to us. We are fortunate that the standard of teams in the Premier League is quite poor.

The minute the match started my mentality changed. Losing is losing. It's crap. I wanted to win. My instincts took over. Can't help how you feel. The mind us weird.

Yeah same.
Went tonight thinking I've seen Ronaldo, Henry and Drogba but never appreciated anything cos whenever they do something great it really pisses me off. Let's go watch a great football team play and not be fuming when they outplay us for once.
From minute one that changed and I was cheering us on and wanted us to win.
The crowd around helped as everyone to a man or woman was rooting for the Blues in every 50/50 as always.
Only exception was one fella who greeted one of their centre backs crossing the half way line 40 seconds in with a cry of "shoot". He got his deserved laugh.

Everything that is wrong with our club.
