As I said, pretty sure Stones was seen smiling with two England team-mates after a defeat in a documentary that was aired on one of the biggest streaming services. But okay.

Beforehand I was sure I was more than happy to lose. But then it got underway and I realised I wasn't. I don't like City. They merely serve a purpose - to stop them. They better win it now. And we better not lie down in the derby.

Feels a bit like the Chelsea league cup defest under Unnnnsy where we lost but loads of the players get bizarre rave reviews.

Stones, in midfield, coasted through that game entirely unchallenged by our midfield 3.
