Yes it's classic gaslighting, with htis one they love the new stadium angle...if we win (I know , I know) it's ' when you getting the dvd out' or 'your cup final' or the old classic 'obsessed' one told me on Sunday it was 'highlight of the season, no decade' but its ok when they celebrate like fuc and rub our noses in it, its not a big game for them or a cup final - despite clear evidence to the contrary, bunch of furcin clun ts .
But they are not bothered about us. To them we have no history, no roots, no fanbase.

So why do they perpetually jump on to every Everton website to comment on things that don't concern them?

It's because they don't want to be seen as disloyal to their own club by raising criticisms within their own media sites about their current short failings - it's the mentality of cultism not to raise questions of their overlords - but have to somehow vent their frustration someway so we, the non-descript neighbours who mean absolutely nothing to them, have to suffer their banal efforts at humour. And it's not like we haven't heard it all a million times before. 🥱

Yeah and after ripping the p55out of us mercilessly if we say one thing back we are bitter, I compared them to Israel and zionists in one whatts app chat, that didnt go down well

This is voter intimidation @GrandOldTeam

Hmm. Im going to allow it.

Missed this at the time.
Kavanagh and VAR pretty dismal with KDH penalty and attacks on Gueye, Pickford yellow over VVD, etc

Not being bitter. We were robbed

No we weren’t. McNeil was responsible for their first goal and Tarkowski for their second. Throw in the fact that Barry was brought on and it all adds up to a self inflicted defeat. More of these will occur with those three still about the place.

I do. It will be a slow process but we have a better stadium then them, in a location which is about to become a new hub of the city, and they have just wasted 0.5 billion on rubbish. what makes you so sure we won't gradually overtake them?
Im not sure anyone will ever overtake the likes of Man Utd etc. Its like overthrowing a government. We may get lucky one year (or unlucky if you look at how that one PL title worked out for Leicester), but I dont know how we can compete with teams that have these huge resources and influence over the authorities. Our worldwide fan base and potential revenue streams are miles smaller.
Data is something like Man U have 83 million worldwide, RS have 48 million. We have 4 mililion worldwide. City having had years of dominance, have only just caught up with the [Poor language removed]. We are a long way off as the gap is huge. Look at the money these lot spend each year, its always only a matter of time before the likes of them win stuff again and consolidate the numbers.

Totally agree in terms of global fanbase, but the important metric is revenue and Spurs (stay with me here) have managed to drastically cut the gap to Man Utd and Liverpool through mainly their stadium. This is 24/25 revenue:
Liverpool 703m
Man City 694m
Arsenal 691m
Man utd 667m
Spurs 565m
(FWIW Everton 197m)

Our stadium will host the Euro's, big concerts, rugby, possibly NFL - and an ever increasing number of things as the Liverpool Waters redevelopment takes shape and fills in the gap to town. There's no reason we can't get to that Spurs position, and from there anything is possible. I just think things might look very different ten years from now (for those of us lucky enough make it that long!!)

I hope we manage to close the gap and all the funds dont filter through to the American pockets. Thing about Americans is they know you have to invest to get a return rather. So fingers crossed, but it will be a slow process and patience requires. Moyes is steadying the ship for the time being.
