If Beto was on they wouldn’t have scored from that corner, wins plenty of defensive headers.

Probably wouldn't have had the corner with someone just trying up frontIf Beto was on they wouldn’t have scored from that corner, wins plenty of defensive headers.
No Beto or Briathwaite either. If Beto was on they wouldn’t have scored from that corner, wins plenty of defensive headers.
Plucky/cruel. Again my choice of words wasn't the point of the post.what are you on a plucky derby loss
we lost cruelly the end
Virgil van Dijk should have been punished for a blatant foul on Everton star Idrissa Gueye during Liverpool‘s win at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
That is according to former PGMOL chief and ex-FIFA referee, Keith Hackett, who exclusively told Football Insider that Arne Slot’s captain is a “serial offender” but continues to escape sanction from referees.
The lack of post game push back seems to indicate the club know this as well.No point even getting arsed about the pl with officiating like this, it’s a rigged game, that swung it for me yesterday, disgraceful biased bent officiating.
Van bader has to get booked for that assault, it’s wreckess and dangerous, a Sunday league alehouse challenge that would have got a booking (at least) in any alehouse league in the world.
If he’s booked then he has to manage how he plays his game differently every minute after that, but as he wasn’t he could carry on fouling and grappling without worry, it’s a farce.
I’ll just go the game now to enjoy spending time with the kids and meeting me mates for a gab/laugh and a pint or two, the match is simply secondary to me, as results are being decided not by what is going on, on the field of play fairly, as they should be.
That’s not Everton’s fault btw, that’s the corrupt pl and the refs
Seemed to me they continuously fouled in that opening spell when we were on top. So useful to know you can get away with that and not get carded. No point even getting arsed about the pl with officiating like this, it’s a rigged game, that swung it for me yesterday, disgraceful biased bent officiating.

Take comfort in the fact that you're a blue.No point even getting arsed about the pl with officiating like this, it’s a rigged game, that swung it for me yesterday, disgraceful biased bent officiating.

I am mate, we will never, ever be them.Take comfort in the fact that you're a blue.
I'm over the result now, although I was still fuming this morning. I'm proud of our history.
They can do that most matches, it’s insane. If they were reffed properly and fairly they would end most games with loads of cards and the results would be totally different.Seemed to me they continuously fouled in that opening spell when we were on top. You've said it yourself - the manager organises the set pieces before the game. Including who marks who/zonal if that's how they want to do it. And it's his job to make sure they stick to it. As I said, players also have responsibility, more than the manager in that situation but to say he's blameless is just weird.
Sometimes people score a good/well worked goal and you say fair enough, nobody was at fault. Set pieces are the one thing you should really be able to defend properly, especially when it's just lumped in without a clever routine.
And I didn't say we got battered!
As you'll see from my other posts, I think Moyes has done a good job overall but he's not blameless. There's one-eyed posts on both sides of this argument on here.
Hope this thread now slips down the list and vanishes.
Don't need bugles bumping it back up to the top all the time![]()
