Barry has been terrible. Giving away free kicks like that on the edge of the box is just an invitation for Cerrard to loaf one in and do all that kissy badgey nonsense.
Barry has been very slow.
We need to go at them though that sakho is cack.
Its the derby boys up the tempo

I worry about Barkley coming on for Naismith. Naismith has at least been active in contesting headers, chasing the ball, making himself a nuisance. I can't see Barkley offering the same kind of effort. Wouldn't mind a second winger coming on to be honest.

People moaning about the lack of creative spark

State of our attacking mids ffs , Take out Kev and we have Barkley/Naismith/McGeady and Lennon

No wonder we are struggling up top

The reds***e have the ball around our box knocking it about, we have gone over the 2 mins injury time, but he carries on, as soon they lose the ball he blows up.

was in an attacking position tbf. not that that matters like, every single 50?50 has gone there way, he's just so inept. i mean how he fell for that coutinho dive early on where gerrard went close is anyone's guess. it was 2 yards away from him, abysmal refereeing.

Point is, the staff saw something that made them want to pull Naisy. Martinez needs to do what he feels is best for the squad, whether or not Naisy likes it.

That being said, it's obviously not that simple.
Indeed. Plus there were 5 minutes on the clock and Naismith is the type of person who will not stop at anything for the team (as we should know by now), so his decision is also hardly shocking. However -
Bobby is the boss not Naisy.

He clearly isn't %100 after landing pretty much on his head. The swap should be done at half time. A real good opportunity for Barkley to test a Liverpool back line that has been quite shakey that half.
He'll probably (hopefully, for his health more than anything) be subbed off at half time.

Barry has been a bit gash all season though. Just looks too old and slow.

On the bright side, Besic and McCarthy are pure sex

Exactly, we don't need Barry there. He hasn't put in a tackle of note and they're just doing all the leg work for him anyway. The minute we switched Mirallas left, Coleman was left isolated on the right. When he goes right, we have nothing down the left. We're incredibly predictable.

Yep. I'd expect the player to do everything possible to stay on. If he is hurting the team due to an injury it's on Martinez to evaluate that and adjust accordingly. Good half though - entertaining. COYB!
