...not the biggest fan of him, but I think his after match interview was very magnanimous. Fair play for that.

Haven't heard it but I'm sure as a local lad, the Derby meant more to him than most of the RS
Still, should have gone to the Chavs when he had the chance. Bet he regrets it now

Naismith if nothing works for 90 mins, I've seen Barkley waltz about like an empty head to often this season and we didn't need that type of performance tonight

I agree Naismith is a worker but his football skills leave a lot to be desired. Barkley came on and did 2 terrific passes to create a good chance and an opportunity. Give me a footballer any day than a grafter

It was a performance that gives us a platform to build on for chelsea... A loss today and you see exactly the same performance at Stamford bridge. Today means we can go and attack them on Wednesday.

Rubbish, the talent of this squad should have won this comfortably. its back to the walls next week this is the nil nil game

......another decent performance by Robles, difficult game for him but he's done ok. Sure there'll be mistakes but could be worth persevering. If he's dedicated and works hard in training he's got a top career waiting for him.

Too much messing in the tactic again. We're looking defensively sound with Stones back but our offense is just poor. We don't have any specific style because Roberto is still mixing things up, players just simply don't know what they should do in some particular moments. If you do a rematch pay attention to how isolated our players were - Coleman had no options but to play one on one because his nearest partner was 15 yards away. Same with Lukaku or Naisy when they played up front. Lack of support, communication and maybe too negative tactic were main reasons we were so toothless.

IMO that's a poor training. On this level you need schemes, routines in your play and you learn them on training ground. Our play looks chaotic and disorganized.

I think Martinez is as low in confidence as the rest of the team, and who can blame him when individual players started the season in such shocking form. It's a long road back and nothing he's tried has worked out so far to get us playing quality again. Looks like his main priority at the minute is not to lose, which is ok, but at some point he's got to start trusting attacking principles again.
I was as upset as anyone with today's subs, but am still willing to believe he'll get it right in the end.

Some credit please for Jordan Henderson, he is motoring up the league of utter utter melts that have played for Liverpool. I suspect the coming years of him as captain will speed up his arsehole ways - at least Gerrard had ability to back himself up

On the plus side he is utter garbage! ;)

Really good at hurling abuse at refs and running around like a headless chicken, laughable with the ball at his feet. Honestly expect he'll be England captain one day as well.
