Not saying I don't want better or that I'm chuffed we got a point. Of course I'd love it if we won, even more so at home, but looking at how we've been losing for fun this season and how the RS are in good form, would you say this result is as bad as it's made out to be?

It's not ideal, as I said, and it's not too much to ask, but really should we be this mortified with a draw? I'd loved it if our final ball wasn't lacking so much tonight, and if Naismith got subbed off at HT (for the injury and cuz we need a creative played in the middle for that to work), but I can't say I'm extremely disappointed to the extent I'd boo him. Last time out we went out to kill, and got punished severely for it, we learned that you can't really do that in the derby and adapted, if you get my drift.

It's not the result, really.

It's that we're in a position where 0-0 at home vs liverpool is our aim.

Comnpared to the last home derby and it just hammers home the way we've fallen this season, in terms of ambition, quality, belief etc. I just want this season to be over, now. There's nothing to like about it at all.

Oviedo and Naismith were absolutely awful.
So many times Naismith's passing or decision making let us down when we counter attacked, and you know what, thats happened so many times throughout the season.

The three in midfield provided enough protection, yet i didnt think we gave the front three enough license to do what they wanted.

For years under DM we never had a decent centre-forward and now we have one. But he has no-one to work with.

I was underwhelmed by LFC. All that money spent and they look ordainry.

Just seen two of your posts slating a centre forward stuck on the left wing who is lethal when given a chance.

How many passes did he have today into feet in the box?

Zero.

If your going to slate someone then Barry or Naismith should be your targets.

if Lukaku looks like he isn't doing good enough.

IF? Absolute [Poor language removed] would be more apt, and he has the first touch of an elephant fact

Lukaku worked his hole off. Barkley was only on the pitch 5 minutes and he stood watching can stroll out with the ball. Lukaku sprinted past him to close him down. Proper attitude

???

He put the best pass of the game through for Coleman when he came on, and miscontrolled a pass. That's all he did!

That was one of the most boring Derby I've seen I think, really lacked passion and quality from both sides.

We looked like we never wanted to get beat and were scared of losing that's a long way from the home game against them last season, real shame the way this season panned out.

Poor game from both sides in all honesty, about as far from a classic as you can get.

But we were conceeding goals for fun a short while ago and we at least seem to have solved that. Joel was pretty good again today and Jags/Stones look to be finding a rhythm. Good debut from Lennon and Barkley's pass was lovely.

Sometimes Martinez has been criticised for being too naive and attacking, at least he has shown recently he can be more pragmatic and set up to nick a goal. unfortunately to wait a bit longer to beat them but at least we didn't have to spend the next week listening to "Gerrard's fairytale goodbye".

Yes he played for a point - it was obvious as soon as the team sheet came out.

You can't blame him for that in our present predicament. It would have been one hell of a downer to have lost that after the recent recovery.

Unbeaten in 6 now. Small steps and all that.
