Wouldn't be to worried about the performance there. I'd be surprised if the players in that team totalled 38 premier league starts this season

Tonight was exactly what we needed, we have squad problems, no point in winning games like this and deluding ourselves into thinking everything is fine when it isn't.
Need to not win tomorow now then understand how buying fresh players over the next few weeks isn't a luxury but a necessity

How many subs did Lille use?

Besic looked a class above tonight. Niasse looked like the Niasse of old. Good run out for some of the younger players but some found wanting. I do believe Marco more or less knows his strongest team already and who he wants to move on. Won't be easy moving some of these players on though and although I think he knows his strongest team he will know it is lacking so he will have to get business done sooner rather than later

The fact Niasse is probably our number one striker is worrying. Absolutely useless at finishing. Reminds me of cadermateri runs all day but no end product

Apart all those goals he has scored like...

What makes you think he is our number one striker anyway? That was a second string side tonight.

Or a season at Forrest and 3 pre season games. He’s not cut out for the prem, id put my house on it

I can understand why people would doubt any youth team player would become a Premier League regular, very few do. What I don't understand is why some appear so desperate for them not to. He was one of the best players in the first half of the Championship season at 19 years of age, including a cup game against Arsenal where he scored one and made one.

Tonight’s showing only confirmed what we’ve already known for a while. We have a squad big on number, but desperately lacking in quality.
