2 pages before Danny cans it.

Might get to four pages, but when he does, at least we can look at his previous comment and debate as to whether this thread constitutes an actual match thread or is more like AndyC's MOTM thread.

Keep it, but only if you're happy to allow Everton related threads in here which aren't of the "Look at the nobs having a meltdown in the Everton forum" variety.

Dont mind this, the bold being key - so no alternative match thread.

As much as I love Gareth Barry, I have to acknowledge that high pressing is never, and based on what city fans have said, has never been his game. He's far too cool to be running needlessly after people.
He was cool enough to avoid a yellow today thankfully so won't face an automatic ban - might be handy with Davies looking a touch tired at the end of the match and if Morgan's injury flares up again.

Thought Davies looked leggy the last 10-15 myself, but apparently he'd covered more ground than anyone else.
Think Gana would enjoy a 3 hour match myself.

Chico talking sensible football.

This place is weird.

I am just hoping we can start producing the same football we are seeing at home when we travel...especially to teams below us. We do that then we are on our way to something special.
It's a lot easier to have a decent chat when a thread isn't full of helmets wanting to sell Lukaku and Barkley.

It hasn't been picked up enough but our away form is patchy af. Two wins in eleven games or something.

You are right of course. We have some utterly mental people that post on here.

We are a completely different team away. Played like cowards (again) at the pit. Just not the same team. Mostly a between the ears problem in my opinion.

For a team with so much pace and dynamism in the final third we are poor at counter attacking football far too often. That's particularly useful in away games.
