Very true.
I’m not sure what’s more worrying though....our lack of attacking prowess or the naivety that we are showing against these sides. You could cross the ball in the air from now until next Christmas and DCL won’t beat Maguire to it. The one that goes in low beats the defence but no Everton striker anticipates it.
I’m all for supporting the academy players, but there’s a balance between that and the reality of elite sport. If we want to push on as a club we can’t be sentimental.Yes, it is criminal and somewhat depressing. And this sums it up. It was criminal that we couldn’t get balls into the box, and when we do no one bothered......
Well, my boy was not impressed with that. The first 10 minutes set the scene. AwfulTaking the boy to his first everton game today. We had better not everton this up
we have zero team cohesion... ive seen nothing to suggest we have a team starting to pull together as yet. this is the biggest disappointment for me. zero team togetherness and unity.Yes, it is criminal and somewhat depressing.
You would honestly think that wingers and strikers would take one look at the Leicester centre backs and decide to try low balls drilled on from the flanks or low defence splitting passes through the centre. But....they still try crossing, usually hitting it so high so avoid the defenders that the ball overshoots the entire box.
FantasticApparently, we're playing a better brand of football though, great isn't it?
True. Problem is that the longer this goes on the more likely it is that a lack of unity becomes a lack of trust on the pitch.we have zero team cohesion... ive seen nothing to suggest we have a team starting to pull together as yet. this is the biggest disappointment for me. zero team togetherness and unity.
Fantastic
