It's awful. There is absolutely no movement whatsoever from our attacking players. We play neat and tidy football in our own half and in the opposition half the player on the ball has zero options. Siggurdson is a passenger at times he's offered little or nothing for months now. Everytime the ball goes anywhere near Walcott the move breaks down. Richarlison is getting battered from pillar to post and getting no protection from the officials. Evans should have been sent off for that tackle in the first half, we didn't even get a free kick. Gomez been poor since the derby. I dread to think where we'd be without Gana, consistently breaking up attacks from the opposition and Pickford yet again looked distinctly ordinary. Great shot stopper, my a+&$ he didn't even dive for the goal he just lay down.

I agree with most of your post but I cannot blame Pickford. The lead up was pure Laurel and Hardy from our players.

I think the flag went up on the Maguire one so it didn't matter he missed. I assume performances like that are why people want Puel out despite the results?
Never that bad but yeah some people aren't a fan of his playing style. We've been spoilt as fans over the last few years with a fast counter attacking style so Puel's methodical, passing style (not based on today) doesn't suit some. It's mainly the new wave of self entitled melts that think we should be pushing top 6 every season because of the title win

I personally like want he's trying to do here and it's great that he's giving some youngsters a proper go. At times the football is turgid though

I went for JJK who at least came close to scoring. We seem unable to break with any speed or conviction so that, by the time players get near the opposition area, the opposition defence has time to close ranks. Leicester did what they're good at - defending well and exploiting the lightning break through Vardy. If ever a game summed up our season it was this one.

Having said that, if Evans had been given at least a yellow for the studs up, reckless challenge on Richarlison in the first half (and the same referee gave Digne a yellow for an innocuous tug on Albrighton's sleeve) the Leicester defence may have been more vulnerable. As it was he didn't even give a free kick.

I'm not particularly blaming him for the goal mate although I think he might have done a bit better I'm just saying he's distinctly average as a keeper. I can't understand people claiming he's a great keeper when he's not. How many did he concede for Sunderland surely the defenders can't be at fault all the time.

Thought Leicester beat us in first gear today. It worries me how easily we've been out-worked and out-fought in home matches recently.

The players (some more than others) need to be working a lot harder. Too much lethargic jogging and "oh well" type careless attitude. Improved performances and added quality mean nothing without the necessary mentality.

Can’t wait until Lincoln to see that Walcott is captain. And then against Bournemouth when he’ll start. And even if he breaks his leg, his head falls off or he is on his deathbed, he’ll probably still start. Because for some reason, Silva just can’t leave him out.
I’d love to ask MS what he sees in him that warrants a start every game.
I’m not normally one to moan but I’ve said it all season, this guy is robbing other talented players of game time.

My dog was ill yesterday and today, last actions of 2018 cleaning up vomit and first actions 2019 cleaning up vomit, it's probably set the tone for the coming year, sick of Everton

Gueye for me , but I am fed up living the rollercoaster life that is Everton F.C.
But having followed them for over 40years it is something that I am used to all to well.

We are the most listless club in the league we have nothing 0 wins against the top 6 for 2 years now and approaching a decade without a solitary derby win which is the worst run in our entire history. Southampton and Palace have got to finals recently, Leicester will always have that title triumph even West Ham a club we laugh at beat the top clubs once a season, the rest are just promoted clubs happy to stay up
